Favourite thing to coach?
Strength and Barbell movements
Favourite movement and why?
For me as an athlete- Snatches. They are so heavily technique focussed that when you nail it, it feels worthy of the celebration.
For me as a coach- anything that someone is working hard on that they finally get. I love being chief cheerleader for the small wins!
Proudest moment as a coach?
Seeing the lightbulb moment when someone nails a movement that they have been working on.
Is there anything else we should know about you?
I am a big bundle of excitable emotion. My nickname when I was young was ‘Wembley’ (From Fraggle Rock. Given to me by my Geography teacher. If you are too young to know who that is- google it!)

TORY EYRE
General Manager & Coach
What made you become a coach?
I became a coach because I love helping people discover what they’re capable of. The gym has always been where I’ve pushed myself, built confidence and found community and I wanted to give others that same experience. Seeing someone’s belief in themselves grow is what drives me every day.
Favourite movement to coach?
The barbell deadlift — there’s nothing better than seeing the puzzle pieces click in to place for someone.
Favourite movement and why?
Also the barbell deadlift! It’s a movement that makes me feel really strong & capable and helps me appreciate my body and what it can achieve.
Proudest moment as a coach
Watching clients hit milestones they never thought possible, whether it’s a first pull-up or bench press PB. Seeing that pride and excitement is everything.
Is there anything else we should know about you?
I’m a big believer in the “everyday athlete” mindset; training isn’t only about performance, it’s about showing up for yourself and enjoying the journey. And when I’m not on the gym floor, you’ll find me in the kitchen. I love to bake - it’s my happy place and one of my favourite ways to switch off and fuel the people around me.

What is your specialism?
One-to-one resistance and strength training, having put in years of continued study through Integra Education and RTS. My coaching combines technical expertise with genuine empathy, meeting clients exactly where they’re at; whether they’re complete beginners, returning to training after time away, or experienced exercisers looking to achieve a specific goal or push beyond a plateau.

Through that and training with my friends when we were allowed I realised a hidden love for teaching. One thing lead to another and now I coach full time and adore my job.
